My First Tutorial

Hello everyone,

I know that I posted yesterday and this may seem a bit excessive but I've just had my first tutorial and feel really excited.

As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I was feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed prior to finding the correct materials to get started. I now have a much better grasp of the dashboard and finally feel as though I can really get started.

I've just finished my first tutorial and feel very ready to tackle this course. Going in I was quite nervous, not really knowing how to define my practice nor what my focus and reflection was going to be on. I spoke a little bit about what I'm currently doing (working on a river cruise) and then mentioned something that I am particularly keen to explore over the next year - my religion (Judaism) and its relationship with my career. We spoke about this in depth, brainstorming different ideas and approaches and how I could use it for this module. I feel like I'm now in a really good place to start researching and focusing on specific topics, which is a nice change from how I felt 24 hours ago.

That's all I wanted to come on here to say for now. I'm going to start looking through the university library to find resources that I can then read when I have a bit more time as I need to get back to work in half an hour.

Overall, I'm feeling very excited and ready to tackle this module!
